ISA and Inspections

What is the ISA?

Annan School is a member of the Independent Schools Association.  The ISA has over 360 members and offers support and advice to headteachers as well as organising inter-school events on a regional and national level.

ISA schools value innovation and inspiration, integrity and high standards, industry and responsibility.  All ISA schools share a desire to meet fully the needs of the young people in their care, treating everyone as individuals and providing a high-quality and personalised education.  Headteachers can  become members of the ISA only if their schools meet the highest standards.  This includes a rigorous inspection by the Independent Schools Inspectorate.

Annan is inspected every three years by The Independent Schools Inspectorate. Our most recent inspection in May 2017 was a Regulatory Compliance Inspection. We were found to be fully compliant in all areas.
