Our Living History Event on Wednesday was a fantastic way to end the term. Each class took a different period. There was a Victorian Classroom, a Stone Age Village, a Vintage Tea Dance and an Anglo Saxon world to explore. Parents were treated to tea and cake, Saxon stew and bread, cave painting and a Victorian maths and elocution lesson as well as a re-enactment of a Sutton Hoo burial! Real life learning at its best.
Sports Day 2016
Sports Day at Ringmer Football Stadium on Monday was brilliant. The sun shone and the mood was really exciting. Children took part in 5 events including relay races, egg and spoon, javelin and hockey and rounded the afternoon off with class flat races. Of course one of the other highlights are the adult races won by Vicky Cresswell and Casey Pearson. Well done to everyone who took part and thanks to Sally for organising for us to hire the venue which was perfect.
